I have some HDV footage I have captured inside premiere pro as 1080i X 1440widescreen HDV file. When I try to convert these files within Pro Coder outside of Premiere, it is interperting the source as 720X540 with 4:3 aspect ratio. When I try to convert it ends up as a squished image.
I do not see any way I can change the source paremeters to correct this.
When I export directly from the Premiere timeline all my conversions work fine. Of couse I can not tell what the source paremters are because that option is greyed out when you export from Premiere.
Any idea what is going on?
Thanks

What version of ProCoder are you running? (Help -> About ProCoder)

Do you need any additional info?

So if you:
- Capture native HDV 1440x1080/60i in Premiere Pro
- Immediately load the captured file(s) outside of Premiere Pro, directly into PC3, PC3 reports an incorrect frame size
By design, this workflow should not cause any issues. Any chance of getting a very small (ie. 5 seconds) clip as captured by your system, for analysis?

Actually I upgraded to Cineform's Aspect HD. I am capturing and converting my HDV source to Cineform's intermediate format. Would this cause a problem? As I stated above, Procoder seems to have no problem converting to Quicktime when I export directly from within Premiere. It is just when I take that same HDV Cineform intermediate file and try to convert it outside premiere in Procoder 3. It will take my 16:9 and make it a 4:3. In the source tab it is interpreting my file as 720X540.

Sounds like ProCoder is misreading the Cineform data during import. I'll have to check to see what the story is with Cineform video support in PC3.
