Hi All,

Just run my procoder 3 upgrade, loads fine up to install HASP drivers and indicates an error, then says drivers loaded OK.

I try to run PC3 and I get "error 1031: envelope unknown error" The dongle is recognised, and lit - any clues?

Paul

I currently have Aladdin driver 5.22 on my machine.

Don't suppose you can pull up the information of the error that happened at the time of the HASP driver installation?

Perhaps try this:

1 - Uninstall the HASP driver (ie. from device manager)
2 - Uninstall PC3
3 - Copy the PC3's CD contents to a folder on your C:\
4 - Reinstall from the drive, but make sure the HASP dongle is not plugged into the system at the time

Hi,

The only error indication I had was: "setupapi function failure 14,5,258,1051"
asks for "OK" hit OK then says drivers are installed.

I removed Procoder 2 from the system and PC3 then recognises the Aladdin key and works correctly.

Install PC2 again and PC3 will not start up, so there is a conflict with the two keys somewhere.

I just wanted to have PC2 available until PC3 checks out Ok with me, but looks like its not possible to do this.

It certainly doesn't say to remove earlier versions of the software in the documentation -
