I am having trouble removing Procoder 2 from my PC. If I run the CD, I get the option to modify, repair or remove. Remove runs, and the Program Files/Canopus directory is gone, but when I go to re-install, it gives me the same modify, repair or remove options and will not re-install the program files. It also shows up in Add/Remove programs in Control Panel, but with the same result, it thinks it's removing it, but the program will not do a clean uninstall / install.

Please help! How can I remove it all manually?

Thanks,
Dave

I had this problem last week, I did a manual cleanout and edited the registry to remove all traces of PC2 - then I did a re install all OK.

Had to remove it in the first place because it just went loopy - missing several .dll files it "said" and would not start up, repair or remove.

Thanks Paul. That worked, I also removed the Installshield directory that contained the Setup program information under "C:\Program Files\InstallShield Installation Information\{6A70D9E8-C51B-4196-BD1F-137E6EF6AEBB}"

I just fail to understand why removing the program is so fouled up. I know that on rare occasions the uninstall files can get messed up and then it obviously won't uninstall, but there just seems to be liitle excuse in this day and age regularly to require manual cleanups of an uninstall. Good grief!

If ever in trouble, use this MS utility:
