Hi There!
Are there any development opportunities for the Procoder suite?
I'm interested in for example:
- Job Queue Manager API/SDK
- Plugin API/SDK
To give an example:
I want a process to shoot in a job and being able to 'monitor' the
Queue from software.
Are these available somewhere?
Thnx for the info/advice..

ProCoder is a desktop product. While it does have command-line functionality for basic automation, SDK-type things are more in the realm of a larger product.
Check with Rhozet (http://www.rhozet.com/) on their Carbon line.

Thnx for your answer.
Carbon seems like a nice product we could deploy at large broadcasting facilities.
I got my Procoder version 3 today, and created my own little SDK.
See my little demo application as screenshot.
Is it allowed for me to built on this SDK, and create a 4-machine encoding park?
(e.g. 4 x Procoder version 3 + 4 x my SDK)
Kind Regards,

Hi Roderick,
You can run ProCoder and your application on whatever you want. But eventually managing all the jobs will get cumbersome, and ProCoder cannot split tasks across machines.
That's where Rhozet's products come in - they have the job management and ability to split the workload across multiple machines, aside from having more broadcast-level format options and features.
