Edius and Procoder upgrade

I bought the upgrades and will need to upgrade my motherboard/CPU as well.
I will start with a new clean disk. What needs to be on the disk in order to upgrade Procoder 3 and Edius Broadcast 4.2xx?

EDIUS needs a minimum of 4.00 installed to apply the 4.24 patch.

I'm not sure about ProCoder 3 - I think you can install it clean and have your PC2.0 cd/dongle handy for verification.
