Confirm deletion of a clip from the Bin
Description:
When you delete a clip (ie select clip, and press delete on your keyboard) you get no confirmation, no pop up no nothing.

There needs to be a popup that says "This clip is in use X times" etc and a option to delete the clips with a OK or CANCEL button...also if the clip is deleted from the bin, it also needs to be deleted from the timeline. It's mind boggling that this isn't the way it works at version 4.x of Edius, yet.

EDIUS's Bin has always been independent from the timeline. This allows for direct-to-timeline capture (which bypasses the Bin) as well as interoperability with other Bin-type applications (or even Windows Explorer for that matter). Because of this detachment, deleting a clip from the Bin doesn't delete it from the timeline.
