View Full Version : LOST "Open the vlip restoration dialog"

Inside "Find offline clip" dialog, when I click "Open the clip restoration dialog", no dialog appear and no respon when i click another button, after i press "Esc", everything come normal. I thank after click, "the vlip restoration dialog" is running but only i can't see that. I had try maximum the display's resolution(1400*920) , but also can't find the dialog.

Try minimising the edius app to see if it is hiding (it shouldn't be since it is always on top) No other solutn 4 u, sorry.

restore layout to normal, that should bring it into view if it was hiding outside monitor

I tried restore layout to normal, but still hiding outside monitor.

not likely any help, but ...
in Windows display\properties\settings\advanced\
General tab, what are you running under DPI setting?

Can you max. your screen res and then restore it to default.

I try all and also reinstall the E4 but also still lost.
I thank that is a bug of the program.

follow these exact steps
1. start a new project called Test
2. capture a short clip
3. save and exit Edius
4. use windows explorer to delete the clip you just captured
5. open Edius and open Test
6. since there really is a missing file, does the resore dialogue work now?

"Find offline clip" window is work and "Open the clip restoration dialog" is running, but it runs outside monitor.
follow these exact steps

is it possible that it is running behind offline clip window? try again and this time drag the offline clip window to a different desktop position, then click the clip resoration....
do you see it now?

offline clip window is running but cannot drag (can't catch any part of the window because i can't see the offline clip window).
Anyone know that is there any windows shortcut key to move the window use keyboard not use mouse.

did your PC ever use dual monitors?

Try Shift + Alt + L which should give you a normal layout and all windows should open on screen.

I useing dual monitor . Rigth! I lost this popup window (the lower one call " Restore offline clip"), I miss it !~!

In tried "Shift + Alt + L" but cannot show the missing popup window.
Try Shift + Alt + L which should give you a normal layout and all windows should open on screen.

try Alt+Tab to see if you can select it from the bar that pops after pushing Alt+Tab
