Product:
ProCoder3

Feature:
Support output to .MP4 container

Description:
I'm having a bit of an issue. I would like to encode to H.264 inside an MP4 container. Simple right?

It appears that Procoder 3 can only encode H.264 to MPEG-2 Transport Stream not to an MP4 file.

I can however encode H.264 inside an MP4 file if I use the QuickTime functions inside Procoder 3. This doesn't work for me.

I simply want to use the Mainconcept implementation that Procoder 3 provides but be able to output an MP4 file. This can certainly be possible. How do I accomplish this?

I've moved this here as it has been requested by a few people already.

(Currently there is no .MP4 container option)

hem, just rename the .*** in *.mp4 ?

[KH]: This will not work - MP4 is a different container than the one used by the H.264 in ProCoder 3. You need to use the Quicktime File Export option to create .MP4 H.264 files. As of v7 of Quicktime, it still does not support High Profile H.264, a requirement for Blu-Ray/HD-DVD.

Just a note, ifyou have quicktime pro, you can remove the mov container by extracting the tracks, which is pretty easy.

I need High Profile H264 export in Procoder for Blue Ray/HD DVD authoring.
