I think there is a bug in Waveform/Vectroscope Monitor: it shows the timecode overlay.
Don't you think so?

This is intentional, and not a bug. EDIUS treats all video elements as being part of the stream for analysis - you need to disable the overlay if you want the results to reflect the video itself.

If you were going to an external scope and you had the overlay on it would be included so that is what EDIUS is doing :)

given the great new ability to turn off overlay for external video whilst retaining it on the Edius monitor, does it then measure the output signal or the internal signal?
i wouldn't ask but am not at my edius station right now so cannot just check for myself
