If you look at PAL colour bars (either 75% or 100% will do for this exercise) with the waveform monitor with IRE filtering, it shows luminance pedestals of the green and magenta bars differently depending on whether you are in SD or HD.
In SD the levels are correct, but in HD, the magenta and green bars luminance pedestals are effectively swapped the wrong way around.
This issue is in 4.51 and has been noted and reported in previous versions of Edius 4.X
