lost preview scale in 4.5

ok i cant see how to change scale in the preview window to expand scale as in previous versions you could select in out points and then scrub more accurately within a selected area.
and how do you change the default clip coulor

It is the same as in other versions of EDIUS.

Select clip ->alt + enter-> video-> clip color

Still the same.

not sure as the clip is coming up as a mid green i know how to change the clip color but it only changes that clip and not the default as when you start a new project
