In order to minimize potential confusion and maximize the gain of this forum, please follow these basic rules when posting in this area.
Determine whether this is the correct area. This area is for features requests. That means things that are currently not supported by the product that you would like to see supported.
For example, EDIUS currently does not support use of After Effects plug-ins within EDIUS. This would be the area to request that functionality.
This is not the area for "I know (something) should work this way in (product) but it doesn't" or "My (product) crashes when I do (something)" posts. Those posts belong in the User-reported Issues section.
Format the Title of your post as:
Product Name: Short description of feature
For example...
EDIUS: Support use of After Effects plug-ins.
Within the body of your post, include a detailed description of the feature and why it is of benefit. Remember that not everyone edits the same way, so features that don't generalize well to a large userbase will generally not be done. Things like "I always name my files ABCVideonnn - I want EDIUS to automatically arrange these in the timeline" is too specific to your workflow to be useful to others. Generalized to "I want EDIUS to automatically arrange clips in the timeline by clip name" would be more acceptable and likely.
Follow the formatting of the example sticky post!
Do not use ambiguous words like "correct" or "proper" - these words have no meaning as what I consider "proper" may be completely different from what you do. Describe the behavior/function you desire.
Unless you have something to add or further clarify on the feature request, please do not reply to the thread. "I want this too" replies will be deleted. Please vote on the poll instead.
Use the search functions before posting. Your request may have already been submitted.
