WMV HD file in EDIUS 4.24

Hi Everyone,

I'm sure glad this forum is back!! I tried to import a WMV HD file from Microsoft's web site. The file is loaded into a project with HD settings that fit with the file format and plays in real-time on my dual core laptop. The problem is the audio is high pitched distortion. like a digital stream that is not decoded. The file plays fime in Windows Media 11.

Any tips?

Play the file in WMP11 and right click and go into the properties from the list panel. What does it say?

If it's 5.1 WMA, that might be the reason.

I have had that happen a coule of times and my only solution was to recapture (or in this case redownload).
