That's how I do it today. Since I've done it both ways, I can say for sure that if playing at x3, you will finish much faster and yes, it comes out accurate at this speed for me since I'm very good at listening to music and analyzing fast footage especially when the songs are the same songs over and over (weddings) and I know the camera men's work so well, I sometimes know when they will leave the frame even before they start signaling about it.

i am also making video wedding clip and i use edius it works perfect on my projects.
