Default Edius NEO 2 booster

So I am buying a new processor (i-7) if I were using Edius neo 2 with the AVCHD booster is there a significant difference in performance as far as Neo is concerned between a 920 (2.66) and a 950(3.06)?

well, this is totally up yo you. You are going to buy a big track to drive arround your house with a small dog??? Ii you think it is nessassary- do it...
The editing itself will be the same as on dual core, i& makes difference in Aftereffects, Lightwave etc...

The reason I asked is AVCHD editing is important to me. The e-mail says 3 streams of RT editing with a i-7 I didnt know if a faster i-7 would make a big difference in either the smoothness of the 3 track editing or the amount of tracks? or if one i-7 is just about as good as another?

I disagree with Mikes' statement (if I understand it correctly). I would check with George Dame and he can probably give you a better assessment, but I would go for as big a processor as you can comfortably afford.
