Default Advc 300

I am uploading video from my Sony Hi8 player via S-Video into the 300 and then via firewird to my IMac with OS10 leopard into iMovie.

My problem is the 300 will switch from analog to digital on its own, and I cannot upload after it switches.

Any help please.

Thanks

Receiving a DV Record command will switch the ADVC into Digital In, and receiving a DV Play command will switch the ADVC into Analog In.
If you can, disable Device Control in your capture application and it should stop the switching.
