Default Fade out 2 video tracks

Hi,

I have a chromakey and a background image. To make a "soft cut" on a white
background I want to fade out the chromakey track and the below image.

If I fade out the tracks seperatly, one the above track becomes half transparent
and one can see the fading out background image through the person.

Until now I have created a "screenshot" with CTRL + T, but one can see that an
image is fading out, not a video.

Thank you very much
Markus

How about using the Keyframe option in the Chroma Key keyer, to fade-out the keyed image?

are you talking fade to black or fade to another clip

if fade to black, simply add a black matte on track above chroma key and add dissolve, and if fade to video, simply add a clip above the chroma key and dissolve

Antons way will give you the best results... when you place a black matte on a track above the other two and add a fade in the keyer track it will fade both of the tracks evenly :)
